1. TRANSCRIPT REQUEST: You must have all previous institutions mail official copies of your transcripts to the address below. FAXED transcripts are not considered official. Transcripts sent from students are not considered official.
2. Have your previous institutions mail your transcripts to the following address:
Troy University
506 Manchester Expressway
Suite B 15
Columbus, Georgia 31904
You need to send for a transcript from every college you have attended, even though some of your classes from one college may also be listed on another college transcript. If you have less than 24 semester hours of previous college credit you must request your high school transcript. You may use the same transcript request form to send for your high school transcript. If your transcript will be sent in a foreign language, please make sure that it is officially translated from the following source prior to sending: World Education Services, PO Box 5087, Bowling Green Station, New York, NY 10274-5087. Their web address is www.wes.org.
3. SAT/ACT SCORES: If you are under 21 years of age you must provide TROY with SAT or ACT scores. Contact your local education center to schedule this test if you have not previously taken it.
4. UNDERSTANDING THE GoArmyEd ENROLLMENT PROCESS:
First, you must register in the GoArmyEd portal. Instructions are located in the student reference documents section in the portal.
Second, GoArmyEd will forward a list of students and their desired courses for the next term to TROY. If we determine you are eligible to register, we will enroll you in our University database system and the online learning site, Blackboard, or an on-site class that you have chosen.
5. MATH AND ENGLISH: You must take a placement test in both English and Math before you can register for a course in these areas. (If you have previously taken a Math or English course at another institution, these courses may preclude the need for a placement test. BUT, until all of your previous college transcripts have been received this will remain undetermined. Select courses other than English and Math until the final transfer of previous credit has been determined.)
6. Placement tests may be requested by using the online request at https://ser.troy.edu/secure/troysites/earmyu_placementtest.cfm?whatsite=eArmyU
